Assignment:
On a sketchbook page, make 2 dots on opposite sides of the paper, do this at least 12 times. Connect the dots to make 10 straight lines. Move your entire arm, not your wrist.

- On a new page, make 4 dots to make a square, repeate this to fill the page so you can make at least 8 squares.
- On another page, do the same technique with 3 dots for triangles. Fill your page with at least 8 triangles.
- On another page, fill your page with at least 15 circles. do not use your wrist, use your arm. Be loose with your strokes and dont move too slow.
- On anothe page do the same woth elipses.

Mark Making. Refer to the image to the right for an example. Do not copy it. Directions: On a clean sheet of sketchbook paper, fill your entire paper with as many different types of marks as possible. Make a variety. Think of adjectives to help you, for example, Zigzag, fast, curvy, round, thick, thin, criss cross. Fill your entire sheet with minimal blank space on paper. Must have more than 12 types of marks. Include enclosed lines which are shapes. Use a variety of different types of pencils. |
